A.D.D.’s Whack-ass Beats and Tracks
These first two are some old tracks that incorporate both samples and a nice cheap as all get out piece of drum machine software. Need some work to round ‘em into something usable.
This is a recent track constructed from samples only. Sorry can’t give any sources away. Almost dancy, it’s still in need of some direction and some vocal samples.
This is also fairly recent. A few ideas with the basic dueling guitar loops, and some flavor thrown in to keep it from getting too boring. A good ways from being a song still.
Five minutes of loop making and a couple hours of enveloping, et voila… Puts me in mind of some strutting undead.
NEWish Beat 5
I got some new drum machine software…
NEW Beat 6
Fight Songs project
These are tracks from my immently releasable CD - Fight Songs, which i’m sure you will be able to find in your local Wal-Mart any day now. This is my contribution to Marching band remixes. Kanye and Destiny’s Child can give me a call.
1) Fight Song
This is the Star Wars themed track about sticking it to the man. It’s almost done except that i screwed up the bass line the last time i messed with it. You’ll see, err, hear. The outro section here is probably the crowning achievment of my mixing ear/abilities so far.
Of course you also have to pay homage to hose who have fallen righteously in the fight against the man, those who have come before. This is my tribute, until i finish it…
3) (Funeral March for) Dynomite Brothers
This is a pair of segued tracks. Part 1 is Calling All Cars, an exercise is camel’s back testing. Part 2, Ways and Means, is more or less the A.D.D. self-written theme song. If you haven’t written yourself a theme song, what are you waiting for?
4) Calling All Cars/Ways and Means
A good exercise in using music you don’t care about at all to build your songs on. The two bands i like are actually buried on this one. Needs some work.
5) Tonight!
